Museum Work

As a graduate student at UMass, I had the opportunity to work on several museum exhibits, including the Humanities Action Lab’s project, States of Incarceration: A National Dialogue of Local Histories.

As a graduate intern at Wistariahurst Museum, I also curated a panel on Puerto Rican history in Holyoke for a pop-up museum. For this panel, I drafted interpretive text and selected images and objects to represent the Puerto Rican community of Holyoke, Massachusetts. I also created an oral history project to document the life of long-time activist Carlos Vega and his contributions to the Puerto Rican and Latino history of the city.
